Cestus (fist weapon)
After the Arcane Whip unlock, return toward the first mirror/save area. In the next room, whip a hidden spot high in the middle of the room to open a secret and collect the Cestus — a fast fist weapon that rewards hit streaks.
Whip rings you passed earlier
Luminous anchors that looked useless before The Fallen become traversal tools after the whip tutorial. Revisit elevated ledges and awkward gaps for chests, relics, and alternate routes.
The Fallen — why it feels brutal
Many players hit a difficulty spike here. Death is cheap (checkpoint + flask refill). Lower difficulty in the system menu if needed, learn telegraphs, and use the Hunt System clue log before the fight. Details: Bosses — The Fallen.
Holy Cross after absorb
Beating The Fallen feeds your first Arcana. Equip it, spend mana on the returning cross, then start Works of Mercy goals to grow the card. Full loop: Gameplay.
